Cancellation by the organizers/University:
(1) If the organizers/University must cancel the conference for an important reason, e.g. an insufficient number of participants or for force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events beyond the control of the organizers/University. In this case, 100 % of the participation fee paid will be refunded to the original method of payment. The organizers/University shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
Cancellation by the participants:
(1) Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following refund policy applies:
– Up to two months before the start of the conference: 100% of the registration fee minus a processing fee of $50 will be refunded.
– Between two months and one month before the start of the conference: 50% of the registration fee minus a processing fee of $50 will be refunded.
– Less than one month before the start of the conference: No refunds will be issued.
Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment. Substitutions of participants are permitted at any time at no additional cost.
